Apple Maps snafu isn't hurting iPhone 5 sales, say analysts

Sales of theiPhone 5 are actually unfazed as a result of Apps Maps debacle, as documented in analysts.

Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster also continues to see strong iPhone 5 demand, noting that consumers don't seem that concerned with the flaws in the Maps app.

"Consumer sentiment on your iPhone chanel galaxy s3 case remains high despite reported difficulties with Apple Maps, which we believe shows that the Maps program is not creating a user backlash," the analyst said within investors note released Friday.

Munster projects iPhone 5 sales of 49 million for the current quarter.
